I usually feel that New Year's Eve is a rather sad time, but not so this year. We have spent the day sorting and stock taking, not a job I normally enjoy. However this year, its been quite exciting for a few reasons.
Firstly, over the last few weeks we have been talking about the plans for New Moon Enterprise, and I couldn't wait to actually get started, but there was much to accomplish first.
Secondly, because many of New Moons products had been placed out of sight to make room in the Emporium for glii products, it was like Yule again getting them out and rearranging every inch of available space. I feel like a child does at Christmas time, the euphoria has kept me going all day, plus the cups of tea and coffee. So look out for all the changes in the next few weeks!
I hope everyone has a safe and peaceful start to 2012, and that you will have had a great evening, however you spent it. Lots of old traditions seem to have died away, and new ones have started. When I was a little girl, my father use to go out of the back door just before midnight carrying a piece of coal and as the bells rang out to herald in the New Year, my Mother would open the front door to him. The reasoning being that he took the departing year out with him and brought the new one in, oh and it had to be a man with dark hair! My father still does the above but alas his hair is no longer dark!
May 2012 be a wonderful year for everyone.
